This past weekend my wife and I went with her family to the Yosemite National Park. It was time to get out of Sacramento for a bit. Out of all of the places in the world we have visited, Yosemite is our favorite. In the past year we have been there 5 times. Each time we go we see so many different things. There are always many wonders to discover there. We were lucky enough to arrive a couple days after a snow storm. The past couple years we always went when it snowed. This time was a bit different, because the snow was starting to melt. The water falls were larger. The river was wider and deeper. Places normally covered with snow, were flowing with water. It was still cold enough, however, to walk on lake Mirror and not fall through. That was very exciting.
We will be returning in February to capture some photos that can only be captured then. So return soon to see those photos as well. The following photos are ones we took while there this weekend. As always, enjoy.
