Today my wife Jolene and I had some free time on our hands. The next few months will be fairly busy with weddings, so this was a small chance to get away. Jolene I went and visited my cousin Kimberly in Placerville and ate lunch with her.
From there we decided to drive through Pollock Pines, Coloma, then on to Auburn. I took a few photos along the way. A red house/barn caught my attention. Probably because it was bright red. I had to take a picture of it. From there we found a small single lane bridge that crossed the American River near the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. Of course we took a picture of that as well.
My favorite shot of the day though is actually a shot of the fence post. Sometimes the smallest things excite me. This time it was a fence post. Here are some shots of our short trip.
